As a result of these drivers, payment applications need to be “Instant, Open and Everywhere”. Accomplishing each securely and with scale is a challenge. Real-time payment platforms increase the need to analyze and prevent fraud in real-time. Open Banking mandates by regulators such as PSD2, have accelerated the use of Open API’s for external collaboration in markets all over the worlds. Consumers and enterprises are expecting consistent global delivery and experience with their payment applications but data sovereignty and cloud availability differ around the world.
