The Security Leadership Forum – An Interactive Lunch for Enterprise IT & Security Leaders is an invitation-only gathering limited to 30 senior IT and security leaders from major enterprises in the Greater LA Area. Participants benefit from a highly interactive format that allows every leader to exchange knowledge and experiences while networking in a private room over a fine dining experience at Craft, one of LA’s finest restaurants. No press will be involved and nothing will be recorded.

Our agenda will focus on the rise of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and its security implications. While SaaS increases organizational agility, it is creating significant challenges. Enterprise IT is typically only aware of a few dozen of the several hundred SaaS applications in use by their colleagues. This type of “shadow IT” poses huge security challenges for enterprises. Each of those apps contains unmanaged corporate data that IT has no control over, has zombie accounts that provide ex-employees access, waste budgets, and can violate industry regulations.
