About the Program
Your Remote Workforce: Securing the Next Normal is an invitation-only, video-based virtual event limited to 25 technology and security leaders from enterprises in the Western region who will convene with three goals in mind:
- Learn from insightful conversations led by our moderated panel
- Participate in interactive break out room video discussions
- Build meaningful new connections with a group of like-minded peers
About the Content
The rapid global transition to an almost entirely remote workforce has revealed how well-prepared enterprises were (or were not) to support and secure their employees outside the office. This transition also significantly impacted the infrastructure and strategy for disaster recovery plans. Now it’s time to look ahead and plan for the post-pandemic work landscape. Companies must ask themselves if they have the IT infrastructure to support a long-term—or even permanent—remote workforce. It is also the time to focus on compliance; reconciling a lesser privileged model by certifying and reconciling access, and revoking access for those who may have been over-permissioned as well as cleaning up any dormant orphaned accounts.
It is more important than ever to evaluate the systems being used to manage user identity across cloud and hybrid-cloud environments to ensure that the enterprise is protected from unauthorized access and corporate data is safeguarded. With effective governance, businesses can continue to operate seamlessly and securely, regardless of where their workforce is located.
