- Participate in interactive breakout room video discussions
- Build meaningful new connections with a group of diverse thinkers
About the Content
In the past year, the healthcare industry has faced unparalleled demands due to the surge of COVID-19 cases and the challenges of maintaining cybersecurity in a rapidly shifting landscape, impacted by the growing threat of ransomware attacks and the need to rapidly adapt access policies for clinical staff. Many hospitals were exposed to significant vulnerabilities with insufficient business continuity planning, and organizations continue to struggle with how to leverage automation and establish best practices to streamline identity security during and after the pandemic.
The increase in cybersecurity threats points to the pressing need for digital transformation in the industry. As cloud adoption and other IT infrastructure changes are implemented, prioritizing identity security is crucial for protecting hospital infrastructure from current and future attacks. Identity Access Management solutions not only keep clinical data secure, but also allow admins to leverage AI/ML technology and prioritize least privilege. During COVID-19, healthcare organizations need to understand how to manage access policies and privileges continuously, from first-day requests to last-day removals.
Our conversation will focus on taking a preventative and strategic approach to identity management that can sustain itself in a complex, compliance-driven industry.
