About the Content
Building out an identity governance and administration (IGA) program can be an overwhelming task. Where do you start and how can you advance to a practical, real-world strategy? As organizations become more globalized and decentralized in how they operate and target consumers, it is important to understand their evolving business needs so that they can better prepare for identity solutions and security.
Given SAP and similar obligations, organizations may have to make advancements in their identity program along a timeline that doesn’t align with budget and other priorities. Resolving such issues at scale can be especially challenging when the current state of identity management maintains manual processes and limited automation. Yet, as the security landscape continues to evolve, a strong and cutting edge IGA strategy is critical.
Successful organizations prioritize identity management to boost productivity, securely enable access, and ensure compliance. Drawing on years of experience in deploying identity programs in enterprise environments, our expert panel will lead a discussion on the challenges and advantages of building your organization’s program.
Discussion Topics
- Understanding your identity strategy and planning for your needs
- The path to identity program maturity and the Capability Maturity Model
- Automated solutions to successful IGA programs
- The identity governance lifecycle—joiner, mover, leaver
- Why it is worth taking a step back from technology to examine policies, procedures, and standards within your organization
- Best practices for reducing attack surfaces
