About the Program

Bridging the Gap: eCommerce in a Digital Economy is an invitation-only virtual lunch meeting (think Grubhub codes, video networking) limited to a group of 30 senior digital and e-commerce leaders local to Boston. Our goal is to walk away with the same connections and insights we would have shared in person, doing our part to continue thought-leadership and peer-to-peer learning in a time of social distancing.

About the Content

The Coronavirus pandemic has reached every corner of the eCommerce industry. Staples like groceries and household items are being ‘added to carts’ at an unprecedented rate. Retail organizations that have closed their doors are struggling to compensate for huge losses with online traffic. Many brands find themselves wildly unprepared, with little or no eCommerce infrastructure to build on. An economy in turmoil, record unemployment, and shelter-in-place measures mean consumers are prioritizing the essentials—leisure, luxury, real estate, travel, and automobile sales have dropped considerably. What can be learned from our collective new experiences, both positive and negative? Join our interactive panel and a peer-to-peer discussion to examine useful strategies and new best practices.
